Basic Draping class is essential as this is another skill on how students may construct and design garments. It is through this discipline that they learn to appreciate working with the dressform and derive designs from it. They will also learn how different fabric behaves when they manipulate it on a 3-dimensional form.

Outcomes:
In this course, students will learn to master the draping process. Students will start with fabric preparation, draping the basic blocks, which they will transform into pattern. From transforming with patterns, they will learn to design, manipulate, contour their style lines and pattern blocks.

This course runs for 1 semester, or approximately 4 to 5 months.
Mode of Instruction:
Classes will be taught mainly using the English language.
