Your Design Journey Starts Here
Take your first step toward becoming a SoFA student.
The College Admissions Test is your first opportunity to experience the SoFA Method, our distinct approach to design education. Through a series of guided creative activities, you’ll explore ideas, express yourself through art, and discover your own approach to creative problem-solving.
No prior design experience or technical skills in sketching and rendering are required. The test isn't meant to measure how creative you already are, but to reveal how you think, develop ideas, and express them in your own way.

What to Expect: The SoFA Experience
Experience the SoFA Method through a series of guided, hands-on activities, from expressive painting and developing ideas to sharing the stories behind your work and creating a final artwork. The session also includes a welcome, icebreaker, and group critique, giving you the opportunity to explore your ideas and discover your own approach to creative thinking.
We encourage applicants to take the College Design Test face-to-face at the SoFA campus for a firsthand experience of our learning environment. An online test is also available upon request for provincial and international applicants.
