Our admissions process is designed to align your education with your unique talents, aspirations, and creative vision—nurturing the innovators, changemakers, and design leaders of tomorrow.



Admission Process for Degree Program

BA Fashion Design & Marketing, BS Interior Design, and BS Interior Design - Professional

STEP 1: Create your SoFA Application Account: Click here to create your application account at SoFA Design Institute Applicants and fill out your information. This will be your portal for managing your application and admissions process.

STEP 2: Upload or Submit Your Documents: Once you successfully create your application account and fill out your details, please upload the following requirements in the document submission tab of your application account:

  • Two (2) 2x2 ID Photo (taken with white background)

  • Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate

  • Certificate of Good Moral Character (for high school graduates and college transferees) 

  • Form 137 & 138 or other forms of Grade Assessment (for recent high school graduates)

  • Transfer Credential Certificate and Transcript of Records (for college transferees and second-courser applicants)

  • Creative Portfolio of original creative work by the applicant. (for college transferees and second-courser applicants)

If the applicant cannot complete admission documents within the identified application period, the Admissions Office may provisionally accept the applicant to the program. The applicant may proceed to enroll pending complete submission of admissions requirements but must endeavor to submit any lacking documentation no later than thirty (30) days into the start of the semester.

STEP 3: Take the Admissions Design Test: After creating your account, settle the admissions processing fee at the Admission test page. It is recommended that you take it face-to-face at the SoFA Campus. It is a great way to experience the SoFA Method. However, an online test is also available by request for provincial and international students.

Note: The admissions design test is not intended to test your capacity for creativity. It is not meant to gauge technical knowledge or skills in sketching or rendering; instead, it is designed to illuminate and reveal your distinct design and ideation process.

STEP 4: Settle the Reservation Fee: To secure your slot, you must settle the non-refundable reservation fee of Php 20,000 at the Reservation Fee Payment link. This fee will be deducted from your total tuition upon enrollment.


Admissions Process for Non-Degree Programs

1YR & 2YR Diploma/ Certificate/ Short Course/ Workshop Programs

STEP 1: Enroll for your Chosen Program: Place a "course" for your program of choice and settle your tuition at sofa.edu.ph. Then click the shopping bag icon in the right corner to check out your course. Click "Enroll and Register," then fill out your bank details for your payment.

NOTE: All Enrollees for non-degree programs must be high school graduates or at least 18 years old. The academic department must approve Special Consideration for minor enrollees.

STEP 2: Create your SoFA Application Account: Click here to create your application account at SoFA Design Institute Applicants and fill out your information. This will be your portal for managing your application and admissions process.

STEP 3: Upload or Submit Your Documents: Once you successfully create your application account and fill out your details, please upload or submit one (1) valid government-issued ID in your application portal.
