The Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (Professional Track) at SoFA Design Institute offers a focused and intensive course of study for second-degree takers and career shifters who are seeking to enter the field of interior design. Tailored for individuals who have already completed a bachelor’s degree, this track allows students to concentrate on major interior design courses without the need to retake general education subjects.
The program emphasizes conceptual and critical thinking in spatial design, taking into consideration all aspects of space making—proportion, form and configuration, scale, texture, light, materials, and color. All of these elements are then composed in relation to the human body.
The Professional Track is designed for students who aspire to become licensed interior designers and is in full compliance with CHED regulations. Graduates are eligible to take the annual licensure examination for interior designers as regulated by the Professional Regulation Commission.

IDr. Aaron Paglicawan is a seasoned Interior Designer and creative leader. A University of the Philippines graduate and licensed since 2001, he spent 13 years shaping retail spaces as a visual merchandiser for Penshoppe, Oxygen, and more at Golden ABC. Now, as Managing Partner & Creative Director at Detalye Design Group, he continues to push design boundaries while serving as Academic Chairperson for Interior Design at SoFA Design Institute.

IDr. Che Alexei G. Ellson graduated from the Philippine Women’s College of Davao City in 2009 with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Interior Design with academic honors. In the same year, he passed the PRC-Interior Design Licensure Exams 2009 and became a member of the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID).

IDr. Denise Ayado is a visionary interior designer and creative leader with over 18 years of experience in design and construction. Former Academic Chair of Interior Design at SoFA Design Institute, she is the CSO and co-founder of the global design brand Galyon, and Design Director and co-founder at Wandr. She also serves as the Managing Director at Studio Almera and CSO at ACIIID, and holds a Master’s from the Florence Institute of Design International. A passionate advocate for design education, she was Deputy Chair for Educational Policy at APSDA and was recognized as an Edutech Leader by the World Education Congress. Currently, she is pursuing an EMSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at HEC Paris Cohort 2026, continuously shaping the future of design and learning on a global scale.

ID. Rey Luciano P. Soliven is an award-winning Product and Creative Design Consultant recognized as the "Most Promising Young Filipino Designer" at Manila F.A.M.E. With multiple KATHA Awards for Best Product Design and Collection, he has worked globally, bridging export-level design and community-based industries. A UST Industrial Design graduate, educator, and mentor, he collaborates with NGOs and export companies while pursuing his passion for photography.

Architect Dana Grace Manimbo is a licensed architect and co-founder of Symplex Studios, established in 2020. A UST graduate with a BS Architecture degree, she has spent the past 10 years shaping spaces across retail, institutional, and residential design. Her expertise in 3D modeling and rendering led her to SoFA in 2022, where she began teaching and later expanded into advanced rendering and design theory. Beyond the classroom, she played a key role in designing the SoFA Rockwell Campus in 2023, collaborating with student volunteers to bring the vision to life.

IDr. Aliane "Ae" Bonifacio is a seasoned interior designer and trade marketing leader, specializing in visual merchandising, retail enhancement, and event project management. A UST Interior Design graduate with Latin Honors, she is currently pursuing her Master’s at UP Diliman. A member of the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers, Ae has worked on freelance design projects and led trade marketing for global brands. Her experience includes a key role at GMA Network, managing set and event production execution.
