The Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (BS-ID) program at SoFA Design Institute provides a challenging course of study for students preparing themselves for a professional career in this field. The program emphasizes conceptual and critical thinking in spatial design, taking into consideration all aspects of space making - proportion, form and configuration, scale, texture, light, materials, and color. All of these elements are then composed in relation to the human body.
The program is aimed for students who want to work as professional interior designers. The program is accredited and is in full compliance with CHED regulations. Graduates are eligible to take the annual licensure examination for interior designers as regulated by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Aaron, a graduate of the University of the Philippines with an Interior Design degree, passed his licensure exam in 2001. He spent 13 years as a visual merchandiser at Golden ABC, working with brands like Penshoppe and Oxygen. Later, he became Managing Partner and Creative Director at Detalye Design Group. Aaron also serves as the Academic Chairperson for Interior Design at SoFA Design Institute.

IDr. Che Alexei G. Ellson graduated from the Philippine Women’s College of Davao City in 2009 with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Interior Design with academic honors. In the same year, he passed the PRC-Interior Design Licensure Exams 2009 and became a member of the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID).

Kenneth Baltazar, a registered and licensed Architect and Master Plumber, got his undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science in Architecture, from the University of Santo Tomas. With 14+ years in interior design and construction, IDr. Denise Ayado is President of ARKonst Construction, Design & Managing Director at Studio Almera, Senior Project Manager at Global Reach Design, and Director at ACID, Inc. She holds a Master’s in Interior Design from Florence Institute and a Bachelor’s from the University of the Philippines.

IDr. Migs Alcid, founder and design director of Studio Tatin is a Filipino interior and production designer known as an artistic visionary for design. Preview PH lauded Migs as one of the youngest production designers and interior stylists in the country gaining expertise in style trends and aesthetics.

Oren Loza is a Board Exam Topnotcher and a licensed Interior Designer, Stage and Sets Designer, Visual Merchandiser, Creative Director, and currently finishing his Master’s degree in Interior Design in the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
