Pre College Programs

The SoFA Precollege Programs are designed specially for young high school students who are interested to discover the world of fashion and interior design. It is a great way for them to explore their interest in design, gain an introduction to the field, build portfolios, and get a feel for college-level coursework.

With teenagers in mind these design programs open doors to this exciting world. Through interactive discussions, exposure trips, industry talks and hands-on activities, participants will get a glimpse of what a future in design could look like.

Design Discovery: A Pre-College Program in Interior Design

Design Discovery is your chance to experience what it’s really like to be a designer. In this pre-college program, you’ll learn the basics of creating beautiful, functional spaces using the SoFA Method. You’ll visit a professional designer’s studio, explore a furniture showroom, and even design your own mini room model. It’s hands-on, inspiring, and a great way to find out if design is your passion. Fashion Lab: A Pre-College Program in Fashion Design

Experience what it’s like to be a fashion student through Fashion Forward, a dynamic pre-college workshop based on the SoFA Method. Learn design basics, from concept to capsule collection, while exploring illustration, textiles, and sustainable fashion. What is the schedule and duration of the program?

The program runs from June 3 to June 17, 2025, with 7 sessions totaling 38 hours. Classes are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 12:00 NN and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, plus a culminating activity on June 21 (2:00 - 4:00 PM).

What is the learning modality?

The program is available in Online, Face-to-Face (F2F), and Hyflex (Hybrid Flexible) formats to accommodate different learning preferences.

What are the class requirements?

FASHION LAB: A PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAM IN FASHION DESIGN

Participants must prepare the following:

• Sketch Pad (9 x 12 inches)
• Old clothes
• Scrap fabric
• Fabric swatches• Embellishments

Equipment:
• Laptop or Desktop PC
• Scissors
• Needle and thread
• Adult Supervision (for younger participants)

What are the payment options and terms to enroll?

For our pre-college program, we offer a single payment option of Php 20,000, which must be paid in full upon enrollment. However, we currently offer an Early Bird Discount when you enroll on or before May 15 and pay only Php 18,500. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this limited-time offer!
