Interior Renovation Planning aims to educate renovators on how to prepare for a renovation, understand layouts, apply professional tips and tricks, stay within budget, prevent mistakes, and ensure the design is implemented correctly in their home.
By the end of this workshop, students will have a clear understanding of the interior design process, from conceptualization to final execution, empowering them to create beautifully designed and well-managed spaces.

Course Outline:
Session 1: Building Blocks of Design
In this session, students will explore the fundamental principles of design—balance, proportion, and harmony—and how they create cohesive, functional interiors.
Session 2: Getting To Know Your Space
In this session, students will analyze spaces through site assessments, understanding layout possibilities, lighting conditions, and how users interact with their environments.
Session 3: FF&E Selection (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)
In this session, students will learn how to select the right furniture, fixtures, and finishes that enhance both function and aesthetics while aligning with project goals.
Session 4: Project Management
In this session, students will gain insights into the design process—from concept development to execution—learning how to manage timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Session 5: Resource Management
In this session, students will explore sustainable and cost-effective material sourcing, supplier coordination, and how to make strategic design decisions within budget constraints.
Session 6: Styling & Delivery
In this session, students will bring everything together, applying styling techniques, accessorizing spaces, and ensuring a polished final presentation for clients.
