This course is designed to equip you with the essential skills to identify and predict trends with precision and insight. Gain a thorough understanding of emerging macro and micro trends across fashion, culture, and lifestyle, preparing you to stay ahead in the dynamic creative landscape.
Through this course, you’ll sharpen your observational skills and critical thinking, empowering you to become an astute trend forecaster ready to make impactful contributions in the industry. Classes will be taught mainly using the English language.
This course runs for 1 semester or approximately 4 to 5 months.

Week 14: Introduction to Trend Forecasting and Trend Research
Week 15-16: Trend Forecasting Project

OUTCOMES:
This course aims to equip students with a solid understanding of the science behind trend forecasting and its significance for product developers and marketers in the fashion industry. Additionally, the course promotes an appreciation of diverse fashion subcultures and historical trends while fostering research skills essential for studying fashion and lifestyle movements.
