Fashion Marketing and Promotion

This course covers the fundamentals of fashion marketing, including market analysis, campaign planning, and consumer targeting. Students will explore various promotional channels, such as advertising, digital media, PR, and retail promotions through applied group activities and case-based assessments. By the end of the course, students will be able to craft marketing strategies that align with brand identity and consumer behavior.

Fashion Product Development

Understand the full journey of bringing a fashion product to market, from initial research to final distribution. This course equips students with the tools to identify market needs, analyze trends, and develop a product range tailored to a specific target audience. Emphasis is placed on creating a cohesive design and marketing plan, supported by the use of a technical package as a key industry-standard tool. Ideal for those looking to strengthen their product strategy and innovation skills.

Fashion Merchandising and Buying

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and real-world practices of fashion merchandising and buying. Students will learn to navigate the tensions between creative intuition and analytical decision-making, planning and execution, and global versus local considerations. Through the lens of the Buying Cycle, students will explore how to select the right products, at the right time and price, to maximize both customer satisfaction and profitability. The course prepares students to make informed buying decisions in today’s dynamic retail environment.
