Design Studio 1: Introduction to Fashion Design
Discover your unique design voice with a course that emphasizes individual idea generation. Using the SoFA Method, you’ll explore themes that reflect your identity and bring them to life through hands-on projects.
No background in garment construction? No problem! This beginner-friendly course introduces design conceptualization and explores diverse materials to help you turn your vision into reality. Classes will be taught mainly using the English language.
This course runs for 1 semester, or approximately 4 to 5 months.

OUTCOMES:
The course aims to develop the ability of the students to find inspiration from different aspects of the self. Through the familiarization of the SoFA method, students will be guided to look into their own unique experiences and utilize those to form original ideas that are highly conceptual and serve as innovative design solutions.
