The Certificate Program in Fashion Entrepreneurship is a one-semester course that builds your foundation in fashion business and creativity. This course combines significant principles of fashion entrepreneurship, fashion branding and fashion retail management to provide a comprehensive grasp of the industry. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students will develop a well-rounded understanding that will prepare them for starting or managing their own businesses related to fashion.

COURSE OUTLINE:  

FASHION ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This course is designed as a platform to prepare the entrepreneur in building a business related to fashion and to eventually learn how one can develop this business with the understanding of how a business works (e.g. organizational chart, business legalities, profit and loss forecasts, etc.)

FASHION RETAIL MANAGEMENT
This course is an overview of retailing as part of the Buying Cycle, specifically focused on the system of distributing and showcasing fashion and complementary products and services. 
It covers the 7Ps of the retail mix from product and pricing to store design and customer experience helping students understand how to set up, manage, and grow a fashion retail business. Through hands-on projects, students will create their own strategic retail plan anchored on a unique fashion concept, preparing them to make smart, real-world business decisions.

FASHION BRANDING
This course explores what it takes to build a lasting and meaningful fashion brand in today’s digital world. With so many businesses launching online, this course helps students understand what truly sets successful brands apart. Students will learn how to define their brand identity, align it with their business goals, and manage its growth through changing market trends. By the end of the course, they’ll gain the confidence to develop, sustain, and communicate a brand that stands out and evolves with purpose.
