Interior Design: Foundational Theories | Certificate Program

Explore the fundamentals of interior design through a foundational program that combines conceptual and critical thinking with hands-on technical learning. Designed for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in interior design or gain a closer look at the field, the program covers key principles and practices while giving you the option to further explore a specialized area through a pre-set elective.

Choose the with-elective option to expand your learning into a specific area of interest, or take the without-elective option for a more focused and streamlined introduction to interior design. Both options provide a solid foundation for understanding the discipline and developing the skills to take your next step in design.

The program is designed as an introductory pathway for those who want to explore the field, build foundational knowledge and skills, or take their first step toward further study in interior design.

OUTCOMES:

Graduates of the course can pursue opportunities as interior stylists, interior decorators, or interior design assistants, applying their skills across a range of design and styling settings. Those who wish to pursue a professional career in Interior Design may also use the course as a starting point toward a formal degree in Interior Design.
