This course is a specialized course that takes an in-depth look at the construction and design techniques for pattern drafting, boning, and construction methods for corsetry that aims to expand the student's knowledge in basic pattern-making and sewing.

Outcomes:
Throughout the course, students will learn advanced techniques for pattern drafting, boning, and construction methods for corsetry. Students will also explore various fabrics and materials used for corsetry and learn how to select appropriate materials for different corsetry projects. In addition to technical skills, the course will briefly survey the history of corsetry and its evolution over time in shaping the body.
