Model Making for Interior Design introduces students to the fundamentals of creating scale models of interior spaces, translating design concepts into tangible three-dimensional forms. Through hands-on exercises, students learn to work with basic model-making tools and materials, understand scale and proportion, and apply essential techniques for constructing physical representations of spatial ideas.
The course guides students through the process of developing a simple interior model, from interpreting a design concept to assembling its key spatial elements. By working with form, structure, and detail, students gain a better understanding of how spaces can be represented and communicated through physical models.
Designed for aspiring and practicing interior designers, architects, artists, stop-motion animators, and creative enthusiasts, the course offers a practical introduction to scale model making for both professional applications and personal projects.
