Fashion Styling explores the theories, principles, and practices behind creating compelling visual narratives through clothing, accessories, and overall presentation. Students develop their own fashion philosophy and learn how to translate creative ideas into styling concepts that communicate a distinct point of view, respond to a specific audience, and serve a clear creative direction.

The course introduces students to the different applications of fashion styling, from editorial and brand marketing to television and film. Through insights from industry practitioners, including fashion stylists and professionals working in brand marketing and screen styling, students gain a broader understanding of the profession, its creative possibilities, and the realities of working in the industry.

The course culminates in a magazine editorial project, where students apply their learning to develop and execute a cohesive styling concept. From establishing the creative direction to selecting and coordinating looks, students gain practical experience in translating their ideas into a finished visual story, building a foundation for future work in fashion styling and editorial production.
