Design Studio 1: Introduction to Interior Design introduces students to design thinking and the interior design process as an intellectual, creative, and technical undertaking. Through interactive classroom activities, creative exercises, readings, and lectures, students begin to understand how design ideas are developed and translated into spatial solutions.
Organized into four modules, the course guides students through the foundational concepts and processes of interior design, encouraging them to think critically, explore creative possibilities, and develop an understanding of the relationship between ideas, people, and the spaces they inhabit.
