SoFA × SCAD: Expanding Global Learning Opportunities for Design Students

SoFA Design Institute formalizes its partnership with the Savannah College of Art and Design through an MOU signing and student information session, introducing international study opportunities and a semester-abroad pathway for eligible students.

Expanding educational opportunities beyond borders, SoFA Design Institute formalizes its partnership with the Savannah College of Art and Design ( SCAD) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing, followed by an information session introducing SCAD and its international academic opportunities to SoFA students.

The MOU signing was led by Ms. Loralee Baron-Soong, President of SoFA Design Institute; Ms. Mads Constantino, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Partnerships; and Mr. Adrian Ferma, Assistant Director of International Admission at SCAD.

The occasion marked an important step in strengthening the academic connection between the two institutions and creating opportunities for SoFA students to experience design education in an international setting.

Following the signing, students participated in an information session where SCAD was introduced, providing an overview of the institution, its academic environment, and the opportunities available through the partnership. The session also allowed students to learn more about the semester-abroad program, international learning opportunities, and how studying in a different academic environment can contribute to their development as future creative professionals.
