The SoFA Design Institute Student Life and Activities Executive, led by Ms. Angelique Castro, Ms. Sophia Bautista, and Ms. Nicole Correra, in collaboration with all student organizations, took Halloween to new heights this year with a thrilling off-campus celebration at Nokal Manila in Makati. The night brought together BS Interior Design and BS Fashion Design students along with all SoFA student organizations for an unforgettable evening of creativity, collaboration, and community.

A First for SoFA: Halloween Beyond the Campus

For the first time, SoFA’s Halloween festivities took place outside the school grounds, a bold and exciting initiative led by SLAE in partnership with all student organizations. The event gathered members of SoFA ENT, SoFA Daily, SoFA Fashion Business Hub, SoFA Pulse, and Estoria, transforming Nokal into a space where design students could celebrate, connect, and express themselves beyond the classroom walls. The mix of Interior Design and Fashion Design students made the celebration even more dynamic, showcasing the diverse creativity that defines SoFA’s student community.

Performances that Lit Up the Night

Music and fashion icons came alive through a series of dynamic student performances. Some took the stage channeling their favorite creative idols while others delivered high-energy drag performances that stole the show. The night pulsed with DJ sets, expressive choreography, and fearless self-expression, a true reflection of SoFA’s vibrant and diverse culture across design disciplines.

Raffles, Prizes, and a Celebration of Community

Generous sponsors including Rags2Riches (R2R), United Colors of Benetton, SOLA, Rotacion, Creations by Lourd Ramos Salon, and Nokal Manila kept the excitement going with raffles and prizes that rewarded creativity and participation. From Best Costume to special recognitions, every award celebrated the artistry and enthusiasm that make SoFA events uniquely spirited. Beyond the festivities, the night reminded everyone what makes the SoFA community special, collaboration, creativity, and connection across fashion and interiors. It was more than a party; it was a moment that showcased how SoFA’s students continue to grow together both inside and outside the campus.
