COURSE OUTLINE:
Session 1: The Invisible Signature - Scent as the Ultimate Brand Code
(3 hrs: 1.5 hrs Theory + 1.5 hrs fragrance creation)
Scent is one of the most under-utilized branding tools in fashion. This session will explore how luxury fashion houses and concept stores use fragrance to create emotional connections, reinforce identity, and enhance customer experiences.
Session 2: Air Design & Multi-Sensory Retail Spaces
(3 hrs: 2 hrs theory + 1 hr fragrance application experiment)
A truly immersive fashion space doesn’t just look good it smells unforgettable. This session will explore how air design and scent diffusion techniques can transform boutiques, pop-ups, and fashion events into multi-sensory experiences that captivate customers.
Session 3: The Ultimate Multi-Sensory Brand Experience
(3 hrs: 1.5 hrs theory + 1.5 hrs creative strategy pitch)
Scent can be a powerful storytelling tool in marketing campaigns, runway shows, and packaging. In this session, students will develop and pitch an olfactory branding concept that integrates fragrance into a fashion or retail brand.

INCLUSIONS:
Material Kit (for workshop use of fragrance creation only):
- a curated palette of 20-40 materials (including natural essential oils, aroma chemicals, isolates, nature-identical materials
- droppers and pipettes (for precise blending)
- glass beakers and measuring tools
- Scent strips (mouillettes) for testing fragrance
blends - fragrance blotter fans or leather swatches
(alternative diffusion surfaces) - base components (alcohol, water, etc.)
- glass vials for blending
- scent diffusion device for demo
- reed diffuser for demo
- ceramic cones for demo
- work sheets
- blending/formulation sheets
NOTE: All materials will be provided so students can create their signature fragrance during class sessions. Students will only bring home their created fragrance but not the materials (e.g. glass beakers, droppers etc.)

- Swatches of participants' favorite fabric/design pieces/sketches
