This workshop represents a beginning point for the study of interior design as an unique design discipline. It will serve as a foundation that is supportive of future investigations, both academic and professional, within interior design.

Sessions 1-6 covers theories, elements, and principles of interior design that would equip the participants with foundational knowledge and help them address design challenges with confidence. It also covers technical standards to ensure functionality of the spaces are also considered.
Sessions 7-12 covers the application of fundamental theories & concept discussed during the first 6 sessions through a wide variety of hands-on interactive experiences, creative exercises, readings and lectures to open the doors to design thinking & the interior design process as an intellectual, creative and technical undertaking.

Course Structure: The workshop will be conducted face-to-face on campus at 2/F The Proscenium Retail Row, with Google Classroom serving as the learning management system.

A Certificate of Attendance will be given to each student who has successfully completed the program.
