Basic Illustration
This course introduces students to digital fashion illustration, focusing on essential skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Students will learn to create mood boards, render textures, and develop technical flat drawings using these industry-standard tools. Through hands-on projects, they will explore real-world design scenarios, preparing them for roles in fashion design, marketing, and visual merchandising.
This course runs for 1 semester or approximately 4 to 5 months. One may choose between an ONLINE track or a FACE TO FACE track.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
- 1 pc. H and 1 pc. HB Pencil (any brand)
- Long Ruler with grid (at least 12” long)
- Eraser (soft)
- Pencil Sharpener
- Blending Stump

OUTCOME:
By the end of this course, students will have a strong foundation in fashion illustration, enabling them to accurately depict the human figure, its features, movement, and how garments interact with the body. They will develop the ability to effectively communicate design ideas through sketches, ensuring clear visualization for clients and collaborators in the design process.
